Available to do Folk Song Concerts:

I often enjoyed listening to the Old Folk Songs that were performed by artists like Burl Ives, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and even the songs written by Pete Seeger. Most of these artists have passed on, and Folk Singing has become more and more obsolete. I like to help keep Folk Singing alive, however, by performing Folk Song Concerts at various functions, or doing Folk Song Concerts at Retirement Communities and homes. My Gimmick is this: I picture the American Frontier during the 19th Century, where folks sit out in front of their cabins and homesteads, or inside their homes in front of the fireplace with nothing but their banjos, guitars, or autoharps playing and singing their favorite folk songs. When I do my concerts, I sit on a stool with my Baritone Ukulele (AKA: Four String Guitar) and sing the Popular Folk Songs of the 18th and 19th Century, plus the 1960's using no sound systems or technology, except for a microphone. I dress up in a simple Western outfit, and it is somewhat like folk singing out on the Old American Frontier. Most of my Folk Song Concerts have been at a Retirement Community in the main lounge in front of the Fireplace.

AVAILABILITY: I am available to do Folk Song Concerts at various functions, parties, and events, but I need to be notified and set everything up a few weeks in advance. I do not sing for money. I sing to inspire others, so I don't charge anything.
